Harry Potter Alliance Poster This poster was designed for my 2D class taught by Todd Moore during the fall of 2007. Our final project was basically an open project, so I designed a poster representing the Harry Potter Alliance, using lyrics from Harry and the Potters and The Whomping Willows and imagery from the Harry Potter movies and other sources relating to the HP Alliance. This poster can be seen in the background of many of Lauren Fairweather's Fiveawesomegirls videos, including this one which has been viewed over 85,000 times. In creating it, I was inspired by the design of the Marauder's Map in the Prisoner of Azkaban film, and the feelings I got while listening to the songs I quoted. I also tried to include many symbols representing the HPA, including the HPA logo, the Harry and the Potter guitar, hearts, and a hand holding a wand.
