500 Book I made this book for Nicole Juen's Form and Communication Workshop class in Fall 2008. We first had to fill 500 1" x 1" squares with sketches representing anomaly, balance, contrast, rhythm, and texture (100 per word). We then had to enlarge our ten favorite for each word to 3" x 3", and then our one favorite for each word to 5" x 5". Then we each made a book showing our process getting to the final 5. For the cover and dividing pages, I printed on transparencies. The cover and back cover use the blind drawings I did to generate ideas for the 500. Overall I am very happy with how it came out.
