About
Trying to figure out what to write here is quite difficult. How do I sum up my life and my goals in a few short paragraphs without boring you with details you don't really care about in the first place? Who is my audience here? You could be a professional graphic designer considering me for an internship or you could be a teenager who just bought a wizard rock poster I designed.

I suppose I'll start with the basics. I am eighteen years old and originally from New Jersey. I go to school at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI and am currently a sophomore in graphic design.

Graphic design has become my passion, growing steadily since when I first experimented (badly) in Photoshop when I was twelve. I used to be scared that when I started taking actual design classes at RISD, I would lose interest and become bored. In fact, the opposite has happened. I love the challenge in creating all these projects I never would have normally done while still being able to design fun posters or CD covers for wizard rock bands I admire so much. I find typography fascinating and I want to learn as much as I can so I can do this for the rest of my life.

If you are a professional graphic designer, you might find some of my work a bit odd. You will probably notice many pieces have to do with the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. It is because I am an active participant in the Harry Potter fandom, specifically the wizard rock community. Wizard rock is basically music about Harry Potter, the most famous band being Harry and the Potters. I have taken much inspiration from this community, and I have done commissions for several bands. I take this work very seriously because good design is good design, not matter what context it is found in. And I hope that my part in the community is helping to communicate information or advertise new products in a pleasing and interesting format.
