:: Dotted Background Tutorial ::

In this tutorial, I will show you how to make the textured background I used in this blend and this blend.

1. Open up a new document at least 800x600 pixels. Make a new layer and click on the brush tool. Make sure the hardness is 0 and the diameter around 700. -click-

2. Put the brush tool in the middle and click two or three times. -click-

3. Go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen. Do this four, five, or six times. -click-

That's all there is to it! For a similar effect, you can fill your new layer using the paint bucket tool and than use the eraser the same way you used the brush above. -click-
